These two single-vineyard bottlings represent the unique strengths of the Carneros and Rutherford AVAs. Chilly, windy Carneros allows our Chardonnayto slowly ripen on the vine and develop beautiful acid and sapidity. Rutherford, on the other hand, sports loamy soils and sunny, warm days, resulting in elegant wines with red fruit flavors and smooth tannins-the reason it is considered one of the world’s preeminent sites for Cabernet Sauvignon.
