The Wine

To craft this Napa Valley Rosé, we relied on the traditional saignée method, allowing free-run juice to drain out of the tank after one to five hours of skin contact. The juice was kept cool during its five to six weeks of fermentation to capture the maximum expression of fresh aromas and flavors. Similar to Provence, Napa has a Mediterranean climate, so we had southern France's chilled Rosés in mind when creating this refreshing wine that shines whether you're pairing it with food or drinking it alone.

Vintage

A marginally warmer-than-average winter opened the 2024 growing season, allowing the buds of our white wine grapes to break during the first week of March. These slightly higher temperatures were maintained throughout spring and summer as well, with only a modest heat spell in early July deviating from the norm. Total rainfall was also slightly higher than average, and was fortunately spread evenly throughout winter and spring, allowing the soil to retain important water reserves for the warmer months. The beginning of October was occupied by the most notable heat spell of the year, which ended up helping the last red grapevines to ripen. Overall, it was a classic Napa Valley vintage, with no notable extremes.

Vineyard

All our vineyards are certified regenerative organic, ensuring that all of our grapes are of the highest quality, and that we are responsible stewards of our environment.

Winemaker's Notes

Scents of fresh strawberry, kaffir lime, mandarin and a hint of white rose greet you as you approach this stunning Rosé. A soft lushness enlivens the palate upon first sip, supported by a juicy mid-palate and abundant minerality. Fresh acidity balances out the lavish, fruity flavors of apricot, raspberry, and white peach. An intensely fresh, flavor-laden finish provides a final bow before gracefully retreating, leaving a whisper of minerality that lingers and tempts many more sips.
