Born from a very select block of the only Regenerative Organic Certified Old Vine Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard in Napa, this exquisite, elegant, age-worthy wine boasts an authentic and unmanipulated representation of terroir – unmatched in quality and flavor.
The Place
The Paradise Block, a selection of old vines nestled within our Yountville vineyard, contain the highest quality fruit we produce as an estate winery.
These vines, planted in 1959, are farmed regeneratively, and are some of the oldest still producing vines in all of Napa Valley. The deep root systems of these ancient vines afford us a consistency of quality not prone to vintage fluctuations, as well as small berries, impossibly dense in flavor, and with a superior tannin structure and balance.
The Wine

This single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is the epitome of elegance, opening with aromas of ripe cassis, orange peel, hints of blueberry, raspberry, and red pepper followed by undertones of dried herbs, citrus rind and sandalwood.
On the palate, the wine displays a dense but silky tannin structure leading to complex flavors of juicy red cassis, blackberries and fresh figs supported by hints of cocoa, sel de mer and bay leaves. The finish is exceedingly long and memorable.
